LET'S GET BACK TO GOD'S DIVINE ORDER! (Part 1)

"Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is
the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the
body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so [let] the wives [be] to their own
husbands in every thing".
Eph. 5:22-24

The sequential order of God was for the woman to be made from Adam's side, not his
back, chest, or feet.
"And the LORD God said, it is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an
help meet for him."
Gen. 2:18

"And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one
of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had
taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This
[is] now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she
was taken out of Man."
Genesis 2:21-23

This order pemits the man to lead the woman, and the woman be responsive and
submissive to her husband as they navigate through the journey called "life</". God's order
never meant for the man to be submitted to the woman. This is the natural law of marriage.

However, I have personally encountered what I call "Counter-Ministries", where the wife
has assumed the position of leadership as an Apostle/Bishop, and the husband assumes a
lesser role, such as an "overseer", if he is involved in ministry at all. When the woman
commands the role of spiritual superiority in the ministry, the leadership is in disarray, the
marriage often suffers or fails.

I have also noticed that when women are the head of a church, the ministry becomes
stunted (in census), and the men are usually not (spiritually) "strong" men. I know several
ministries which are not growing and the marriages of the congregants fall apart. If we
continue disobeying God's order, we will reproduce disobedient offspring. This is true in
the natural and in ministry.

I know a female "Bishop" that made the following statement to her congregation:
"When I 'm at the church, I'm my husband's Bishop; but when I leave the church, I'm his
wife".

Tell me, please:

  • Has God changed His sequential order, or have we become beguiled by another
    "voice"?

  • Where did the change come from?

  • What voice has beguiled you?

In Genesis chapter 3, Eve knew the divine order of God concerning life in the garden, but
she allowed the serpent to beguile (trick) her into thinking that God was restraining the
fullness of His blessings toward her. The enemy of our souls doesn't possess "new" tricks,
but understands human nature through observation. When he observes you, what does he
see? Does his observation give him opportunity to strike a conversation with you as he did
with Eve? Does his "beguiling" voice enter into your understanding, a voice that says:

a) The greater anointing is on your life;
b) The people of God respond to you more than him;
c) You belong on a much larger platform
